I want to be myself on camera and be remembered for that. One of the reasons I was initially a little hesitant to get into webcam modelling was how generic a lot of it seemed from the outside.

It is a great feeling to get an overwhelming amount of positive energy from the fans for being yourself. It’s such a boost for my self esteem when I get DMs from fans appreciating my work. At one level, this feels like a lucid dream, because I still feel like a normal 21 year-old girl. So for people to enjoy my work so much is almost overwhelming. Throughout it, I try my best to remain humble and appreciate every one of my viewers and subscribers, because they’re the ones facilitating and supporting everything I do.
In closing, I think the benefits of being authentic when you’re camming outweigh any marketing benefits you might get by promoting an image that doesn’t reflect who you really are. Camming is an “iterative” game, so the more you’re able to have a genuine connection with your fans, the better things work out for you in the long run.
Being a cam model is wonderful that way, it can be a tool to help empower women to be sexy and confident in themselves — to embrace being a woman and not to shy away from being who you are. So be yourself when you’re camming, and you’ll attract the people who like you for you.
